WHAT TO EXPECT

Who we are

What the week looks like for that price

There’s no rigid timetable — the sea and the light decide some things. But every day has the same shape: an active morning, an adventurous afternoon, a long dinner with good food and better company. You won’t need to make a single decision. We’ve already made them.

A typical day on Vis

Early morning — exercise session on the water’s edge and swimming. Nothing brutal, nothing optional. Just a good start.

Morning — the main activity. Sea kayaking along the coast, a guided hike into the island’s interior, or an excursion by boat. You’ll be moving, and you’ll be somewhere worth being. You will be in touch with the sea. Sea calms our minds.

Midday — some more swimming. Vis has some of the clearest water in the Adriatic. You will spend a lot of time in it.

Afternoon — exploration. The ex-military caves, the path down to Stiniva, cliff jumping at a spot we’ve spent years finding. Or nothing at all — that’s allowed too.

Evening — dinner together. Local food, local wine, the kind of table where no one looks at their phone or spend some time relaxing, enjoying, meditating.

By day three, you’ll have done things you’ll be telling people about for years. By day seven, you won’t want to leave.

ACTIVITIES IN DETAIL

What you’ll do

Sea kayaking

Guided kayaking along Vis’s coastline — into sea caves, around limestone headlands, past water so clear you can see the bottom from twenty metres up. No experience needed. We’ll sort you out.

Guided hikes

The interior of Vis is almost entirely unknown to tourists. Terraced hillsides, abandoned hilltop fortifications, views across the Adriatic that stop you mid-sentence. Our guides know paths you won’t find on any map.

Ex-military submarine caves

During the Yugoslav era, Vis was a closed military zone. The submarines are gone, but the caves carved into the rock to shelter them are still there. Getting inside them is one of the most quietly extraordinary things you can do in the Mediterranean. This is not a tourist attraction. It’s the real thing.

Stiniva beach cove

Stiniva is one of the most photographed places in Croatia — a beach enclosed by two towering limestone cliffs, reachable only by sea or by a steep path very few people bother with. We go by water. It’s worth every stroke.

Cliff jumping

Optional — but most people jump. We know the spots: deep, clear water, safe entry points, the right height for the right level of nerve. First-timers and regulars both find what they’re looking for.

Morning exercise

Every morning, before the day begins properly. A structured session — not a gym class, not yoga, something more useful than either. Sets you up for everything that follows.

Swimming

Not a scheduled activity — more of a constant. The water around Vis is cold, clear, and worth getting into as often as possible. You’ll find your own spots by day two.
